Born in Dublin, Glynis Casson comes from the well-known Casson theatrical family – she is the granddaughter of Dame Sybil Thorndike and Sir Lewis Casson and daughter of actor Christopher Casson.
Glynis had her own Radio Show for two years “Young World of Music” with the ABC in Sydney and has performed as a singer on Australian, Indian and New Zealand Television Stations.
She is also a well-known theatre, T.V. and film actress. She has played many leading character roles over the years – in Gilbert and Sullivan Productions, in musicals like ‘My Fair Lady’ and ‘Gigi’ and onscreen in ‘Fair City’, ‘The Clinic’ and Bollywood film ‘Moore Street Marsala’ where she got to try Bollywood dancing for the first time!
