Oddie was born in Reading, Berkshire and after two months moved to Portsalon, Co. Donegal where he spent many of his formative years. He graduated from The Gaiety School of Acting Full time Actor Training course in 2006.

Oddie has voiced a major TV campaign for McDonald’s, as well as regular corporate work and gaming voiceover for Studio PowWow.

His theatre experience includes: the multi- award winning Siren Production of Shakespeare’s’ ”Titus Andronicus” and the 2007 Lane Productions tour of “Alone it Stands” by John Breen. He has starred in such films as the award winning short “Bright Idea” by Vinnie Gallagher and the multi award winning “ Separations Agency” by Shane Martin, “Dental Breakdown” by Dylan Cotter and Ian Power, “The Meaning Of Lifeguard” by Dylan Cotter and “Trouble In Paradise” by Barbra Bergin and directed by Emer Reynolds.

Oddie’s one-man show ‘Bastard: A Family History’ will be playing at the Project Arts Centre as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2014.
